31 October 2020 – An update from our Chairman

Dear Members and friends,

We hope that you, your family, and your loved ones are well and healthy.

As we all adapt to and live in a still very uncertain and not well defined new era, we start to think about the implications of a new normal on our Club’s activities and events. We are reviewing and putting on hold activities in the short term. This most immediately affects our 2020 AGM:

Given the current state of lockdown measures in the UK, we have decided to postpone the AGM planned to be held on May 13th. The club’s business year and books have closed as per normal on March 31st and will be audited as per normal. We plan to hold our 2020 AGM at a later date – with an expectation for September 2020 and will communicate a date in line with the possibility to host a traditional AGM. Should we realize that a traditional AGM is not feasible by that time, we will prepare a virtual AGM for September 2020.

We will continue to monitor the development of the situation and social distancing measures and will communicate dates of future events as they become feasible.
